Russian policeman arrested in the US for stealing clothes

July 2, 2015, City of Fairfax, Virginia. Russian police officer who came to participate in the World Police and Fire Games was detained. 29-year-old Ruslan Rizaev tried to steal several thousand dollars worth of clothes.

According to Virginia law, theft of items that cost more than $ 200 is a criminal offense. Rizaev was released on $1,500 bail but his passport was confiscated, so he can not leave.

Ruslan Rizaev was to play for the team of Tatarstan (Russian region – RRT) police. He was excluded from the application after the incident. In Russia Rizaev played several seasons in Higher Hockey League – the second largest league in Russian championship. Currently he plays for “Yamalskiye Sterkhi” (“Yamal Siberian Cranes”) in Russian Hockey League (the third league in Russia).
