Rosstat (Russian Statistics agency – RRT) published a report for the period of January-July 2015 which states that real wages in Russia in July 2015 fell by 4.8% comparing to the previous month and by 9.2% comparing to July 2014.
At the same time the cost of utilities in July increased by 40.9% in Moscow, while in Russia on average they went up by 5.5%. The highest rates growth was observed in Perm region and the city of Sevastopol – 16%, and by 12.5% in Chechen Republic.
The GDP in Russia in the first half of 2015 decreased by 3.4%. It was noted that this estimate is fully in line with the Ministry of Economy data. As was previously reported by “Kommersant”, the Ministry of Economy published the monthly monitoring data of the economic situation in Russia, where they told about slowing of decline of GDP in annual terms in June to 4.2% after falling 4.9% in May this year. With the exception of seasonal factor decline in GDP was 0.1% in June after falling 0.4% in May and 0.5% in April.
