Estonia started receiving heavy military equipment from the US


A train with American heavy weaponry came to Estonia. Accompanied by military police it has arrived to the station Valga from Latvia. It was reported by Interfax referring to the Estonian newspaper Valgamaalane.

Machines will arrive to their destination in the military town of Tapa by October 26th. After that Tapu will also receive two sapper tank and supporting equipment.

It is planned that Estonia will get about 40 pieces of heavy equipment, including four tank M1A2 Abrams, 10 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, and three self-propelled artillery Paladin.

Equipment is meant for US Third Infantry Division, who will serve in Estonia as a regular rotation of US troops in the country.
