Cancer patient burned herself in Moscow


A 69-year-old seriously ill pensioner died from burns.

The tragedy took place on March 4 in the east of the capital. Lyubov Klimova who was suffering from cancer said she could no longer endure the pain, and set fire to her clothes. Neighbors immediately called for an ambulance. The video of the incident was sent to LifeNews by a civilian reporter through the application LifeCorr.

After arriving at the place, doctors could not immediately get into the apartment, the rescuers had to break the door. When doctors finally went inside, a pensioner was already dead.

“The woman received burns to 80% of the body surface, and died before the arrival of the ambulance,” – said a law enforcement source. “Neighbors said that in recent years the pensioner suffered from cancer, and complained of severe pain”.

It is known that the pensioner previously worked in the Administration of the Moscow region in the committee of property relations. The authorities launched an investigation on the incident.
