About 20 supporters of the “Islamic State” engaged in recruiting new members were detained in Moscow, reports RIA Novosti on Wednesday, March 30.

“About 20 people suspected in being related to ISIS were detained during a joint operation of the police and the FSB. According to preliminary data, they were looking for, and recruiting new members in Moscow,” – a source in authorities told the agency.

The agency notes that there is no official confirmation of this information.

The TV channel Zvezda (“The Star” – RRT) said that 18 people were detained. Forged documents, copiers, printers, and scanners were seized during the raid. Also, a driving license issued for a Turkish citizen was found.
