Launch of Soyuz rocket from Kourou was cancelled


The launch of a Russian carrier rocket “Soyuz-ST” from the French space port Kourou in French Guiana was canceled for technical reasons, says the European Space Agency.

Following an anomaly observed during the countdown for the launch of Soyuz flight VS14 carrying Sentinel-1B, the countdown on 24 April was halted. The launch vehicle and satellites were switched into a completely safe standby mode. A new launch date will be announced after the analysis of anomalies,” – stated in the ESA report.

Earlier it was reported that the launch of Russian rocket “Soyuz-ST” from Kourou French Guiana was postponed once again because of bad weather.
