6 Russian officers killed in bus crash in South Ossetia


As reported by the Ministry of Defense on Thursday, May 9, 6 Russian officers were killed in a bus crash.

Also, 16 people were injured. The soldiers were traveling to training sessions in the bus that suffered from brakes failure. It fell into the abyss. The injured were taken to hospitals.

It should be noted that there is a base of the Southern Military District of Russia in South Ossetia. On Monday, military trainig began there, involving more than 300 officers from North and South Ossetia, Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia and Kabardino-Balkaria. The event was headed by Lieutenant-General Andrey Gurulev.
