Germany will send evidence of crimes in DPR and LPR to Hague

German radio station Deutschlandfunk published the shocking results of investigation of the facts of mass crimes against the person, that are taking place in the occupied territories of separatist Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine with the participation of Russian military.

The article states that the radio station is in possession of documentary evidence that in 28 settlements in the occupied territories of the separatists Luhansk and Donetsk region there are at least 79 prisons where prisoners are tortured.

The evidence collected will be sent to the Hague Tribunal, which is to find evidence of war crimes in them.

As Deutschlandfunk notes, many are arrested for crimes they didn’t commit in order to use them as free labor for building barricades or repairing military equipment.

The Coordinator for Intersocietal Cooperation with Russia in the Government of Germany Gernot Erler has already responded to Deutschlandfunk’s investigation by saying that he expects that the perpetrators will be brought to criminal liability.

“I am deeply shocked by what happened. It is important that the involvement of the Russian military in these crimes was established,” Erler said.
