Head of Russian Fans Union Shprygin arrested in Toulouse

The head of the Russian Fans Union (RFU) Alexander Shprygin was arrested in Toulouse during the Euro-2016 game between Russia and Wales team, AFP reports.

The head of RFU, who was previously deported from France together with other fans, returned to the European Championship to watch the game between the Russians and Wales.

Last week, French police detained a bus in the south of France with the RFU delegation going to Lille for the game against team Slovakia. According to local authorities, there were 43 Russians in the bus. All of them were brought to Marseille, where a question of deporting 20 people from the country was considered. Another 3 Russian fans were sentenced to prison.
