World Anti-Doping Agency will check Russian swimming team


World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) launched an investigation against Russian and Chinese swimming teams.

This was announced by the head of the agency Craig Reedy, The Associated Press reports.

According to Reedy, the agency launched an investigation due to the assumption of a possible use of doping by athletes. The investigation is held together with the International Swimming Federation.

The head of WADA also noted that the agency supports the decision of the International Association of Athletics Federations to suspend the Russian Athletics Federation on the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
