Nearly 1,700 children died in Russia in 2015 because of poorly organized activities

Such a horrifying statistics was disclosed by Deputy Prime Minister at a meeting of the president with the government members.

Vice-Premier of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets said that because of poorly organized activities nearly 1,700 children were killed in 2015.

“Last year, during the 3 summer months 1674 children died because of poorly organized activities,” Golodets said at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin and the government.

According to Golodets, after the tragedy on the lake in Karelia nearly of 20,000 children’s health institutions were inspected. 7 illegal camps for children were found during these inspections. 3 camps were recommended to close.
