12 year old child died from anthrax on Yamal Peninsula


As reported by TASS, a 12-year-old child died from anthrax in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District (YaNAO).

This was reported by the press service of the governor of Yamalo-Nenets District.

As reported earlier, the teenager was evacuated to the district hospital in Salekhard from the source of the dangerous infection.

Also, it was reported that 8 nomads confirmed to be infected with anthrax on the Yamal Peninsula.

On July 29, 37 people were hospitalized in Salekhard district clinical hospital for the prevention of anthrax.
