Head of Crimea Aksyonov suggested “to kill saboteurs, and hang them at the border”

According to Krym.Realii (“The Realities of Crimea” – RRT), the head of the annexed Crimea Sergey Aksyonov said this live on Russian television.

“We should deal with the saboteurs the same way farmers deal with the crows who steal the harvest: kill them, and hang them at the border to discourage the others,” Aksyonov said.

Earlier, the FSB announced the elimination of network of Ukrainian intelligence agents in the Crimea. The FSB claimed that they detained citizens of both Ukraine and Russia, and the resident of Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Panov, who is allegedly a serviceman of Ukrainian intelligence, was in charge of this network. Russia also accused Ukraine of attempting to break into the territory of the annexed peninsula with two squads, which led to the death of one FSB officer, and one Russian military.

The FSB published a video of ammunition, allegedly seized from the Ukrainian “saboteurs”, which also pictures Panov in handcuffs. He was accompanied by employees of the Russian special services. At the same time, according to media reports, most of the detainees were residents of the Crimea, and some were in possession of Russian passports.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will not pass by the death of Russian security services in the Crimea. Also, commenting on what happened in the Crimea, Putin said that Ukraine turned to the practice of terror.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called Russian accusations of Ukraine preparing terrorist attacks in the Crimea cynical. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned Russia’s accusations, and called them another provocation.
