USA blames Russia after UN aid convoy hit by airstrike in Syria

On September 19, the UN mission sent to Syria, was attacked.

The State Department is sure it was not done by a plane of the U.S.-led coalition.

“At the moment we do not know whether it was done by Russians, or by the [Assad’s] regime,”, said one of the senior authorities.

Washington believes that Moscow is responsible for what happened anyway: not only it should refrain from such actions itself, but also make sure the Syrian government does the same. After that, the United States decided to reconsider cooperation with Russia on Syria.

Earlier, the Syrian army announced termination of the truce, placing the responsibility for breaking the ceasefire on armed opposition groups and terrorists.
