The United States is on the verge of suspending talks with Russia on Syria due to continuous escalation in Aleppo.
It was said by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on September 29, speaking at a briefing Washington, Reuters reports.
“We are on the verge of suspending the discussion because it is irrational in the context of the kind of bombing taking place to be sitting there trying to take things seriously,” Kerry told an audience in Washington. “It is one of those moments where we are going to have to pursue other alternatives,” he added.
Today, on September 29, the U.S. State Department said that if Russia decides not to stop the offensive on Aleppo and other military operations in Syria, it will be involved in a war even more, and will end up not only with losses of ground and air forces, but also with attacks of extremists.
