As reported by Reuters, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said that France will appeal to the International Criminal Court to investigate possible war crimes in Syria.

“We do not agree with what Russia does, conducting air strikes on Aleppo. More than ever, France is committed to save residents of Aleppo,” the French minister said.

He also said that French President Francois Hollande will take into account the situation in Aleppo when he will be deciding on a meeting with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin during his visit to Paris on October 19.

“If the president decides to meet, he will not exchange pleasantries,” added the head of the French Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, French President Francois Hollande said that so far he has not yet decided whether to receive Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Paris on October 19.
