Talks in Normandy Format will take place without Putin


President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed to hold a three-way conference call in the format of “Ukraine-Germany-France.”

This was stated by the press service of the Ukrainian president after a telephone conversation between Poroshenko and Merkel.

The leaders also discussed acceleration of granting visa-free regime to Ukraine, and ratification of the Association Agreement.

Speaking about the situation in the Donbas, Poroshenko told about “an increase in the number of attacks by the Russian fighters, especially at night.”

The president of Ukraine also stressed the importance of placing permanent OSCE monitoring stations in the buffer zone.
