President of Slovenia Borut Pahor said that he supports Ukraine’s membership in the European Union.
According to spokesman for Ukrainian President, Svyatoslav Tsegolko, Pahor said it in Ljubljana (Slovenia) at a meeting with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“Slovenian President said that he supports Ukraine’s membership in the European Union,” said in the statement.
In turn, Poroshenko thanked his Slovenian counterpart for the support of sanctions against Russia to the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, and expressed his personal gratitude to the President of Slovenia to condemn Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Earlier, Belgium supported the introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.
Also, the head of the European Council Donald Tusk confirmed that Ukraine has met all the conditions for the introduction of visa-free regime.
