Polish media reported on “traces of TNT” on wreckage of Kaczynski’s plane


On Wednesday, November 9, Gazeta Polska told about traces of TNT found at the wreckage of the crashed plane of Polish President Lech Kaczynski.

It is claimed that the Polish intelligence was aware of their presence, but hid it.

According to the media, four Polish intelligence officers were involved in preparing Kaczynski’s visit to Russia, one of them was killed in the crash. It is reported that the officers were listed as employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, and after the disaster it became known about traces of explosives present in the wreckage of the Tu-154. However, this information has not led to any consequences.

At the moment, the Polish prosecutor’s office is investigating whether there was any crime committed in connection with this information. The investigation is carried out in secret.

Airplane Tu-154 of Polish Air Force fell under Smolensk on April 10, 2010. The official Polish delegation headed by President of the Republic Lech Kaczynski were on board. The airliner crashed during landing, killing all 96 people aboard.
