Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service initiated case against Microsoft

The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) initiated a lawsuit against Microsoft, which is suspected in abuse of dominant position in the market.

According to the deputy head of Service, Anatoly Golomolzin, the case was initiated after a complaint from Kaspersky Lab.

Last Thursday, the Moscow City Court has confirmed the legitimacy of blocking Microsoft-owned social network LinkedIn, which was charged with violation of the Russian legislation on storing personal data.
