Russia threatens Ukraine with missile strike in response to missile tests near Crimea


The warning of a response missile strike from the Russian side was sent in a letter from Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

According to sources of in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a letter, dated November 26, says that if Ukraine performs such a shooting, the Russian side will shoot down Ukrainian missiles. Also, it will perform a strike on Ukrainian launchers.

On November 25, the Defense Ministry handed Ukrainian attaches a note of protest in connection with the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to conduct missile firing near the Crimea.

In turn, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksandr Turchynov said that Ukraine has no plans to conduct missile tests in the Kerch Strait, where the border between Ukraine and Russia lies.

On Wednesday, November 30, it became known that Russia has deployed air defense missile system S-300 in the Crimea.
