The list of medical devices, that are prohibited from buying abroad by municipal medical institutions if the goods have at least two domestic analogues, was tripled.
Medvedev signed the document on November 30. According to the decree, the “black list” has grown from 46 to 128 items. It does not apply to goods that are sold in the commercial market.
Limitations for the purchase of imported medical devices were introduced in Russia in February 2015. They apply to the auctions, where there are at least two lots from Russian, Armenian, Kazakh, or Belarusian companies. In this case, foreign products are not allowed to participate in the auction. The list also includes electrocardiographs, hearing aids, and some scanners.
