Israeli satellite spotted Russian missiles Iskander in Syria

According to Israeli media, EROS B satellite found Russian ballistic missiles 9K720 Iskander in the territory of the Syrian Air Force base in Latakia.

As it was noted by Jerusalem Online, the missiles were well-hidden, but floods and heavy rainfall forced the Russians to relocate the trucks carrying the missiles.

It was also reported that the rumors about the deployment of ballistic missiles Iskander in the territory of Syria appeared back in 2013, however, the general director of Rosoboronexport Alexander Isaykin denied this information.

“Russia has confirmed the presence of the defense systems S-300 and S-400 in Syria, but insisted that there were no Iskanders deployed there,” said in the message.
