Google and Apple removed LinkedIn app from Google Play and App Store in Russia

Now Russian smartphone users are unable to install LinkedIn app on their devices. The network has been blocked by a court decision in mid-November.

Social network LinkedIn is no longer available for owners of iPhones and Android-based smartphones in Russia, it can not be downloaded from the Google Play and App Store.

It is noted that it means that certain states now have an opportunity to take advantage and put pressure on tech giants.

On August 4, Tagansky District Court of Moscow satisfied the claim of Roskomnadzor against social network LinkedIn. On November 10 the Moscow City Court backed the decision.
