China deployed new road-mobile intercontinental ballistic missiles Dongfeng-41 (DF-41) in Heilongjiang province which borders Russia.
It was reported by Chinese media Global Times with reference to Hong Kong and Taiwanese media that found photos of Chinese DF-41 complexes taken in Heilongjiang province.
DF-41 is a solid-fueled ballistic missile capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 14,000 kilometers. The missile was designed for road-mobile systems, and can carry up to 10-12 nuclear warheads.
Officially, China has not announced that DF-41 missiles were accepted in the army, but experts suggest that the development has been successfully completed.
