Journalist of Russia Today detained in Washington during Trump’s inauguration

Russia Today did not specify the name of the journalist, but most likely it was Alexander Rubinstein, whose tweet with live broadcast from Washington was attached to the message.

Rubinstein covered the protests taking place during the inauguration of the U.S. president Donald Trump.

“He was detained and taken to the police station despite the fact that showed his press credentials,” said in a statement of RT.

During the official ceremony in Washington about 500 men in face masks marched through the city, breaking windows in parked cars and shops.

At least 217 people were detained by the police. 6 officers were injured in clashes with the protesters.
