Israel threatens to destroy Syrian air defense

As reported by Israeli state TV company IBA, Tel Aviv threatens to destroy Syrian air defense systems if they attack Israeli planes again.

Israel says that its air force attacked a convoy of Hezbollah in Syria last Friday. After that, Syrian air defense fired at them from the surface. Syrian military claim they managed to shoot down one of the fighters, but Tel Aviv denies this information.

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman also said that his country has no reason to interfere in what is happening in Syria, but the transportation of weapons from Syria to Lebanon remains the main problem for Israel. Therefore, Israel will conduct such operations every time the intelligence receives information about transferring of weapons.

The fighters of the Lebanese movement Hezbollah fight in Syria together with Bashar Assad.
