Members of a local community in VKontakte social network reported that there was an explosion in a residential building on the Solidarity Avenue in Saint Petersburg.
“Explosion at 21 Solidarity Avenue. Just happened. The services are arriving. There is a car near the building, all wrecked from the falling objects,” noted in the community.
According to local media Fontanka, the building is disconnected from gas supply. It was also reported that eyewitnesses claim they have heard two blasts.
Gas supplier PetersburgGaz informs that they are aware of the incident and send technicians to the scene. A representative of the Ministry of Emergency Measures noted that no one was hurt.
