The Israeli Defense Forces fired at a military base of pro-government National Defense Forces in Syria. As a result of the attack, three soldiers were killed, reports Reuters citing the military and human rights activists.

It was not specified whether it was an artillery attack or an air strike.

According to media, Israel shelled the positions of pro-government forces in Syria in response to the shelling of the Golan Heights from Syrian territory. As it was previously reported by the Israeli military, three mortar shells were fired from Syria. As a result of the attack, no one was hurt.
