Japan built its first F-35 jet fighter


Journalists were invited to the presentation of the first F-35 fighter (designed in the United States) that was assembled in Japan.

According to media reports, the assembly of the combat machine was conducted in the hangars of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Corporation plant in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

It was reported that the second F-35 aircraft will be assembled soon, and then both fighters will enter the service in Japanese air force later this year.

F-35 was developed by the American company Lockheed Martin with the participation of several NATO countries and other U.S. allies as the main combat tactical multipurpose aircraft.
