Turkey introduced limitations on food products supply from Russia

On this, the Turkish embassy in Moscow sent a note to the Russian trade mission in Turkey.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has confirmed the receipt of changes in the rules of trade in agricultural products, and said that it hopes for negotiations with the Turkish side on this issue in the near future.

It was noted that restrictions were imposed on the import of wheat, peas, rice, corn and sunflower oil.

According to the Bloomberg agency, trading documents should now be certified in the offices of the Turkish trade mission, or its representative offices in Russian cities.

The Ministry of Agriculture believes that the new rules introduced by Turkey have become a response to the restrictions on the supply of Turkish products to Russia.
