The newest airliner Sukhoi Superjet lost a part of the engine during takeoff from Moscow

MOSCOW, June 14. A passenger plane Sukhoi Superjet taken off from the Russian capital’s Sheremetyevo airport had to come back because of a lost fragment of skin. It was intended to fly to Dresden.

The incident happened in the afternoon on June 13, reports “Interfax“. According to a source in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, at an altitude of 7 kilometers a part of the left engine pylon trim was lost. The flight commander decided to return to the airport. It is noted that the landing went well, no one was hurt.

This is the second case of Sukhoi Superjet losing its parts in a short time. The previous one happened just over a month earlier.
