Nearly 500 kilograms of cocaine found in Brazilian meat in Kaliningrad


Kaliningrad customs officers detained a large shipment of cocaine. Half a ton of drugs were found in a container of meat from Brazil.

As reported by Kaliningrad regional customs, cocaine bricks packed into plastic bags were found during customs inspection of a container of frozen ground meat arrived from Brazil to the seaport of Kaliningrad. The total weight of “white powder”, according to preliminary estimates, is 490 kg.

Meanwhile, only three weeks ago at the same customs post 172 kilos of cocaine were found, also arrived by sea from Brazil.

Police and FSB are to establish the organizers of the transport channel of cocaine coming to Kaliningrad region.
