The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy expressed his hope that the Eurovision officials will reject the song of the Ukrainian singer Jamala about deportation of Crimean Tatars.

“That’s a weird choice. I’m sure that votes were intentionally forged to pique Russia once again,” – said Dengin. According to him, the approval of the song proves politicization of the competition.

At the same time, he added that the majority of citizens of Ukraine, “who do not get paid neither salary, nor pensions, can not afford to watch “Eurovision” because, first, they can not pay for electricity, and second, they generally do not care about “Eurovision” at all,” – quotes RIA Novosti news agency.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine will present a song of the Ukrainian singer Jamala about deportation of the Crimean Tatars. The song is called “1944”.
