Israel admitted air strikes in Syria

The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu admitted that his country inflicted air strikes on convoys in Syria.

According to BBC, he said this during his visit to a military base in the Golan Heights.

According to Netanyahu, strikes were inflicted on convoys carrying weapons to the radical Shiite group Hezbollah, which in 2013 promised to support the forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

“We act when we must. We act both here and on the other side of the border. We made tens of strikes to prevent receiving weapons by Hezbollah, which could have changed the balance of power,” – the prime minister of Israel said.

Earlier, there were reports that Israel inflicts airstrikes in Syria since 2013.
