Turkish Defense Minister and Ukrainian President Poroshenko discussed the situation in the Donbas.
Turkey supports the idea of deploying an armed police mission under the auspices of the OSCE in Donbas. As reported by the press service of the President of Ukraine, this was stated by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Ismet Yilmaz during a meeting with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The President informed the Defense Minister of Turkey about the situation in the Donbas. Ukraine remains committed to the implementation of the Minsk agreements, but draws attention to the need for a systematic deescalation of the situation, and the deployment of armed police mission under the auspices of the OSCE.
