Bomb exploded at bus stop in Poland


As reported by Radio Poland, a homemade bomb exploded in Wroclaw, a woman is injured.

As noted, the city bus passengers noticed a suspicious package in the cabin, which exploded as soon as the driver carried it out into the street.

“Passengers reported of a suspicious package to the driver. He drove to the nearest bus stop and brought the package out of the cabin,” the representative of the urban transport management Agnieszka Korzeniowski said.

“The bus driver was guided by common sense. His quick response helped avoid tragedy: an explosion in a crowded bus,” she appreciated.

Passengers and drivers were not injured. Slight injures were received by an elderly woman, who bypassed the bus stop at the time of the explosion.

Fire and law enforcement agencies work at the scene. It is reported that the police received a video recording, and now determines the identity of the perpetrator in the incident.
