Iran reached agreement on oil supplies to Southern Europe

National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) signed export agreements with companies from 3 countries of European Union.

“Iran has signed contracts with companies from Italy (Saras), Spain (Repsol) and Greece (Hellenic Petroleum),” said the head of the Department of International Relations of NIOC Mohsen Kamsari.

According to PressTV, Iran is currently negotiates with Shell, and other members of the oil market about similar contracts.

After the lifting of sanctions, Tehran announced its intention to increase oil exports to 2.1 million barrels per day, which is 60% higher than in 2015.
