Brexit opposers are calling for second referendum


More than 735 thousand signatures were collected under the petition for a referendum on “re-Brexit”, the petition was posted on the website of the British Parliament.

The petition calls on the government to apply the rule that another referendum should be held, since on June 23 less than 60% voted for exiting from the EU, with a turnout of less than 75%.

The British Parliament takes into consideration all the petitions that collect at least 100 thousand signatures.

The referendum was attended by more than 72% of voters, 51.9% of them voted for exiting from the EU.
