Suicide bombers blasted themselves near mosques in two cities in Saudi Arabia


On Monday, July 4, a powerful explosion happened in Qatif, located in the east of Saudi Arabia.

A suicide bomber blew himself up near the mosque, which is located in the business area of the city.

A little later, another emergency happened on the west of the country, in the city of Medina. There’s an explosion occurred near a security forces post not far from the Prophet’s Mosque. The bomb was also detonated by a suicide bomber, as Al-Arabiya reports.

According to preliminary data, there are victims, but their number is not specified.

On Monday morning a terrorist tried to blew himself up at the U.S. consulate in Jeddah. However, local law enforcement officers neutralized him in time, and prevented a suicide terrorist attack.
