Police armed with machine guns forced tourists to leave beach in Crimea

The incident took place in the Chersonese Reserve in Crimea on July 8, at the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, when it was visited by the Governor of Sevastopol Sergey Menyailo.

Tourists were forced to leave the shore by the police, armed with machine guns.

The video recording of the conflict was posted on Youtube. It can be clearly seen that the police approaches the people sitting on the rocks (with children among them, which by the claim of one of the women were from the Donbas), and demands to leave the rocky beach.

The video shows how locals comment on what they see, demand police to explain their actions, and to stop scaring children with guns.

Law enforcers say that swimming is forbidden at the beach of the reserve, although nobody was swimming at the time they arrived.
