The date of the meeting was confirmed by the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Mehmet Şimşek during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich.
During a meeting, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told that a meeting of the leaders of Russia and Turkey is scheduled for early August, and Russia is ready for constructive talks.
“We are ready for constructive talks, and after our meeting there will be meetings at the ministerial level. We believe that the restoration of our bilateral relations should be gradual, we must step by step defrost interaction in trade and economic sphere,” Deputy Prime Minister said.
Dvorkovich also said that the two countries have very good opportunities for trade, investment cooperation, including implementation of very large projects.
“For the restoration of tourist flows it is necessary to create appropriate conditions and security guarantees,” he added.
