Syrian organization offers to exchange bodies of pilots of shot down Mi-8 for prisoners


Syrian organization demands the government of Syria to release prisoners in exchange for giving up the bodies of the Russians.

Syrian organization “The Universal Foundation for Prisoners” said that it possesses 5 bodies, allegedly belonging to the Russians that were in the Mi-8 helicopter shot down in Syria last week. It was reported by Reuters, citing a statement of the group.

The group demanded the Syrian government to release prisoners in exchange for the bodies of the Russians.

In addition, the group demands to stop the siege of areas surrounded by the Syrian government forces and their allies, and to deliver humanitarian aid in these areas.
