Turkey announced its readiness for military cooperation with Ukraine


Turkish Defense Minister Fikri Işık said it is important for his country to develop cooperation with Ukraine in the military industry.

He said this during a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, reported the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

“It is important for us to develop cooperation in the military industry. The prospects of these relations are particularly important for stability in the Black Sea region,” said Isik.

According to him, Turkey condemns the annexation of Crimea, and supports Ukraine in its aspiration to independence and sovereignty.

Earlier it became known that the UK and the USA send strategic advisors to Ukraine at the request of its Ministry of Defence. They will help in the reform of the defense department.

Also, Turkey provided 5 military mobile hospitals, which will be sent to the zone of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO).
