Bus drivers in Belgorod region addressed Putin with appeal made of buses

In the town of Stary Oskol in Belgorod region, drivers of the company OskolPasTrans held a rally against the actions of local authorities.

In the summer of 2016, the city administration of Stary Oskol terminated the contract with OskolPasTrans for transportation. The company was the largest transportation carrier in the city, but the authorities were dissatisfied with the quality of their services. The drivers lost their jobs, even though the Arbitration Court sided with their employer in the dispute with the city authorities.

The company appealed to the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service, the Prosecutor General, and governor Yevgeny Savchenko, but it didn’t do any good.

To draw attention to the situation, the drivers held a protest rally. They put together the words “Putin, Help” made of their buses.
