Media: USA is considering strikes on Assad’s army

On Wednesday, October 5, the Deputy Committee at the White House considered the possibility of military strikes against the forces of president Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

It was reported by The Washington Post.

At the same time, the media notes that even if such a decision is approved by the Committee, the U.S. President Barack Obama is unlikely to support it.

Such a measure in the U.S. is considered as a response to the violation of the ceasefire by Assad’s regime, particularly in Aleppo.

Such “kinetic” options were allegedly supported by the CIA and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
