Next three years Russia’s economy growth will be below world’s average


Accodring to the head of the Budget and Tax Committee of the State Duma Andrey Makarov, the federal budget draft for 2017 predicts Russia’s GDP growth below the world average in the next 3 years.

In the budget of 2017, the GDP is established at the level of 86.8 trillion rubles ($1.37 trillion – RRT).

“The growth will be nearly by 4 trillion ($63 billion – RRT),” Makarov said.

In the future, “a somewhat more rapid GDP growth to 92 trillion ($1.45 trillion – RRT) in 2018, and almost 99 trillion ($1.56 trillion – RRT) in 2019″ was predicted.

According to him, in 2017, the GDP growth is expected by 0.6%, in 2018 – by 1.7%, and in 2019 – by 2.1%.

“According to the government (of Russia – RRT), the growth of the world economy for the same period will be by 3.4% in 2017, and by 3.5% in both 2018 and 2019,” Makarov said.
