According to website of the President-elect Donald Trump, SpaceX founder Elon Musk will be one of his strategic advisers.
Elon Musk will join the President’s Strategic and Policy Forum – a group of 16 of the most successful and respected U.S. entrepreneurs who will advise Trump on issues related to economic growth, job creation, and increasing productivity.
Together with Musk, the Forum will include the CEO of Uber Technologies Travis Kalanick, and CEO of PepsiCo Indra Nooyi. Earlier it was announced that the Forum will be headed by Stephen Schwarzman, who is the head of Blackstone Group investment company. Forum is being created in order to do away with unnecessary bureaucracy: its members are able to communicate with Trump directly.
During Trump’s campaign, Elon Musk spoke with sharp criticism of the Republican candidate. In particular, four days before the election he said: “Trump is the wrong guy. He does not seem to have the sort of character that reflects well on the United States.”
