Nearly 30 builders of subway in Moscow were detained while going to complain about unpaid wages


27 workers of construction companies detained near the State Labour Inspectorate building in Moscow while they were going to file a collective complaint on the delay of the salary.

According to the data, the police stopped the workers near the building and demanded their IDs, and then took them to the police office for identification.

Two people were still able to get into the labor inspection.

Employees of companies Horizon and SMU-77 are seeking payment of salary debts. On December 30, 2016 they sent an appeal to the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin. According to activist Alexander Zimbovsky, more than a thousand workers have not been paid, many of them are migrant workers.
