Britain will keep sanctions until Russia fully implements Minsk Protocol

United Kingdom intends to keep sanctions against Russia until it fully complies with the conditions of the Minsk Protocol.

This was announced on January 20 by Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom Michael Fallon at a joint press conference with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak.

“We will also help to ensure that the sanctions against Russian remained in force until the Minsk Protocol is fully and properly implemented,” he said.

Fallon also said that the UK intends to strengthen the security of the continent despite the withdrawal from the EU.

Ukraine and Britain are planning to expand military cooperation in 2017.
